Together We Serve

Join us in supporting rural letter
carriers and their families through
advocacy, community, and programs
designed to uplift every member.
Together we serve!
Are you a member of the association
in good standing? Then your spouse
is already a member of our Auxiliary.
Bring your kids along to State! They
will enjoy every minute with us.
THE AUXILIARY of the FLORIDA RURAL LETTER CARRIERS' ASSOCIATION
The Purpose of this Auxiliary shall be to unite fraternally its members, to help create a greater interest in rural mail service and association work and to cooperate with the National Rural Letter Carriers' Association to seek beneficial legislation.

Membership Guidelines
Membership in the Auxiliary is challenging in that our organization is dedicated to a three-fold purpose. We are dedicated to the support of our spouse’s careers as rural letter carriers, and to the support of the Association. We are dedicated to providing leadership guidance for our Juniors organization as they learn citizenship skills for tomorrow in their actions of today. And, we are dedicated to ourselves as we work with others in extending information and knowledge in the many areas of service across the state and the nation. It is indeed a privilege to serve such a purpose.
You have the distinction and privilege of belonging to a family group - the Association, Auxiliary, and Juniors – that supports the Rural Letter Carrier craft. It is our organization, made by us, made for us, and answerable to us. Our main purpose is to aid the Association in every way available to us, such as safety and legislative issues. We also aid mankind through the support of our National President’s humanitarian project. We aid our youth in their educational endeavors through the provision of scholarships.
Membership is essential to the success of any organization. The individual member is the most important factor in our Auxiliary. There is strength in membership and there is power in knowledge. An organization can be effective and successful if members understand and carry out their responsibilities.
As Florida is a family-plan state, if your spouse (regular or retired) is a member in good standing, then you are automatically an auxiliary member in good standing. So please stop by the Auxiliary table and join us at our meeting and see what we are all about.

The Auxiliary of the Florida Rural Letter Carriers' Association was organized in Tampa Florida on July 5, 1926 with a membership of 13. The Charter was issued November 8. 1926 with 15 members.
The Rural Carrier with a pleasant smile
Delivers news to you
Though snow and sleet and mud
He/She always brings it through
The Rural Carrier makes a lot of friends
Along his/her daily route
By doing many little kinds deeds
He/She never talks about
